Athens County Food Pantry
The Athens County Food Pantry exists to provide supplemental and/or emergency food assistance to eligible Athens County residents who find themselves in need.
Member Agency of the United Appeal for Athens County
The Athens County Food Pantry is a not-for-profit organization that has NO PAID EMPLOYEES. Our dedicated group of over 40 volunteers comes together to handle the numerous tasks required to operate the Pantry and to make sure that food is always available for people in need. We depend on support from the local community, through individual and group donations, fundraisers, grants and United Appeal for Athens County. We thank our community, our churches, and United Appeal for supporting our mission.

Won't you please place a bag of canned/non-perishable food by your mailbox for pickup this Saturday? Many area moms will appreciate the help!
Thank you, Bounty on the Bricks!
The grant funds received by the Pantry from the 2013 Bounty on the Bricks bought a new computer for our office and a battery-powered handcart and large freezer for our distribution center. Thank you, Athens Foundation, Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville and Sisters of St. Joseph Charitable Fund for all this equipment!
